Long Beach, California, turned local history into a hands-on celebration on September 22. The Arts Council for Long Beach hosted “Seeds of Resilience: The Story of Long Beach,” a free Community Activation Day filled with artists, storytellers, performances, and interactive history.

The event invited neighbors to explore the city through creative work and shared memories. That combination gave families and visitors a welcoming way to learn how community stories grow across generations.
